Captain Elsie Redfern Intelligence & Peasant District — Mousefolk A small Mousefolk woman who combines neighborhood protection with intelligence gathering. Elsie and her Guards are exceptionally friendly and involved in the Peasant District, helping people with everyday problems and earning their trust. That trust naturally produces information; people tell Elsie's Guards things because they feel comfortable around them. She's therefore an excellent source of information for Fafnir and the other Captains without needing to behave like a stereotypical spy. Elsie is also sociable outside work and regularly joins the other Captains for drinks, often bringing everyone pastries and other treats from bakeries in the Peasant District.
