Captain Zephyr Windguard Messenger Corps — Harpy A cheerful, friendly Harpy responsible for keeping Lestrait's military and civic communications moving. Zephyr oversees messengers, dispatches, warnings, intelligence transmissions, and rapid communications throughout the city and beyond. She takes her job extremely seriously without becoming humorless about it: being serious about her work doesn't mean she can't enjoy it. Her Harpy physiology makes her excellent at aerial communication, but the Messenger Corps also employs fast ground couriers and other specialists. Zephyr is particularly close with Liz and is one of the people Liz spends more of her personal time with.
