Captain Ser Devon Longwatch Royal Guard — Human A grizzled veteran knight responsible for the Royal Castle and the protection of the Crown. Devon is formal and disciplined while on duty, but much more relaxed around people he considers friends. He has a long-standing friendship with Gaius, and the two occasionally meet for drinks to commiserate about younger generations. Devon is an experienced military commander and widely regarded as the Captain to consult when a problem calls for actual military tactics and organized warfare. He was also one of the Guardsmen who responded to the incident involving Elizabeth when she was a child, something he quietly remembers but never brings up with her.
