The top one is the only Springfield SPIW in the photo. It is based on the "Concept 2" prototype, modified with a side by side box magazine layout. This was abandoned for a front and back magazine scheme.
The bottom one is the Harrington & Richardson SPIW, which fired three flechette from a single Tround. Aberdeen was frankly scared to shoot it from the shoulder.
