As Luffy set off from Dawn Island he came face to face with the Lord of the Coast, a fierce and aggressive Sea King large enough to swallow a grown man whole. Remembering their previous encounter, Luffy grinned, for he was no longer the young boy that froze with fear. He sent the "damn fish" back into the sea with his Gum-Gum Pistol, a skill he had been honing for the past 10 years.
